trulyoffline exists because of a simple belief: the software on your phone should work for you. Not for an advertising network, not for a data broker, and not for a server you've never seen.
Every app here runs its core work on your device. Not “mostly on-device.” Not “on-device with anonymous analytics.” Recordings, transcripts and conversations are processed and stored on the iPhone or iPad in your hand. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter that phones home, and no account to create. The only network calls are the ones you would expect: downloading an optional model, and checking purchases with the App Store and, for ScribeKit Pro, with RevenueCat (an anonymous ID, never your recordings; see the ScribeKit privacy policy).
The apps are priced fairly, and I say exactly what for. They have no servers, so there is no server bill hiding in the price. Nashi is a one-time purchase. ScribeKit is free to use, and ScribeKit Pro pays for the ongoing work on the app: new models, new features, keeping up with every iOS release. You can pay for Pro monthly, yearly, or once for life.
Who's behind this
trulyoffline is one independent iOS developer shipping apps under one rule: nothing you put in leaves the phone. ScribeKit (offline transcription) and Nashi (offline AI chat) were both built without a team, funding or analytics.
Every line of code, every design decision and every word on this site is one person's work. No investors, no board, no one to answer to except the people who use the apps. If something is wrong, it's on me, and I want to hear about it.
