By downloading or using Caravan ("Walking Adventure - Caravan" on the App Store), you agree to these terms.
What Caravan is
Caravan turns the walking you already do into a journey along famous historic roads. It reads your walking and running distance from Apple Health and moves a camel along the road, with real places, treasures and a weekly story along the way.
Free and Pro
Caravan is free to use: the first chapter of one road, your weekly stories and your year recap. Caravan Pro is an optional in-app purchase that unlocks every road and every chapter, treasures and medals on every road, switching roads with your progress kept, and the camel's outfits. New chapters are added over time; Pro includes them as they arrive.
Caravan Pro is offered as:
- a monthly subscription ($4.99 per month);
- a yearly subscription ($29.99 per year);
- a lifetime purchase ($59.99, one-time).
Prices are shown in your local currency in the app and may vary by country. There is no free trial. Caravan Pro can be shared with your Family Sharing group.
Subscriptions
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's terms.
Lifetime purchase
The lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-recurring payment for Caravan Pro, including future roads and chapters, for as long as Caravan is available on the App Store. It can be restored on your other devices signed in with the same Apple Account using Restore in the app.
Your health and safety
Caravan is for fun and motivation. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Walk where it is safe to do so, and talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise routine if you have any health concerns. Distances come from Apple Health and may differ from other apps or devices.
Historical content
Every place, story and treasure in Caravan is checked against more than one source, and legends are labelled as legends. Mistakes can still slip through. If you spot one, tap Report an error on the postcard and we will fix it.
Acceptable use
You may use Caravan for any lawful, personal purpose. Don't copy, resell or redistribute the app or its content.
Intellectual property
The roads, stories, illustrations, animations and the camel are owned by trulyoffline or used under license. Museum artifacts are shown as original illustrations; the originals belong to their museums. The fonts and sounds are used under their open licenses, listed in the app under About & credits.
Limitation of liability
Caravan is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, trulyoffline shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Caravan after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
