Nashi Privacy Policy

Nashi is built by trulyoffline. This privacy policy explains what data Nashi collects, stores, and shares. The short version: nothing.

What we collect

Nothing. Nashi does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. There are no analytics, no crash reporters, no telemetry of any kind.

What we share

Nothing. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing to share with anyone — no advertisers, no data brokers, no "business partners."

How your data is handled

All conversations happen on your device. Chat history is stored locally in your device's app sandbox. When you delete the app, all data is permanently erased. There is no cloud backup, no sync, and no way for us to access your conversations.

AI model processing

The large language model runs entirely on your device using llama.cpp. Your prompts and the model's responses never leave your phone. The AI inference requires zero network connectivity.

Model downloads

When you download a model, your device makes a standard HTTPS request to the hosting CDN. This request does not include any account identifier because Nashi has no account system. The download URL, file size, and model name are the only data involved.

Third-party services

Nashi does not use any third-party services for AI inference, analytics, advertising, or user tracking. The only external interaction is the initial model download and Apple's standard App Store mechanisms for the purchase itself.

App Store privacy label

Nashi's App Store privacy label shows "Data Not Collected" because no data is collected.

Children's privacy

Nashi does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected at all, there is nothing to address under COPPA or similar regulations.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and note the changes here. Given that the app collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
